Description
One of the most beautiful restaurants in Brisbane CBD, Donna Chang is set in an old bank dating back to around 1914 and rustles up lip-smacking Chinese fare. The space is jaw-droppingly gorgeous, from the double-height ceilings and Art Deco chandeliers to the wood-panelled walls and velvet furnishings. There's even a slinky, Japanese-inspired basement bar downstairs called Boom Boom Room for after-dinner drinks.
Sidle into the blush pink booths for date nights, celebrations and group dining, with a crowd-pleasing menu of modern Chinese fare up for grabs. Can’t decide what you want? There are several set menus for a taste of everything, including plates such as red braised pork belly and kung pao chicken. Just make sure to pair that with one of the signature cocktails; our favourite is the Do You Like Jazz, which mixes Lillet, peach liqueur, lychee, jasmine tea soda and sours.
