Sister bar to the ever-popular Savile Row, Finney Isles is keeping pre-dinner hunger pangs at bay with their smart lineup of cocktails, wine and snacks. The popular Fortitude Valley bar is found on Ann Street, behind a huge, double-height blue door. Inside, things are a rather more suave affair, harking back to the spot’s history with royal blue booths, monochrome pictures and plush patterned wallpaper.

During the week, there’s a tasty selection of cheese boards and charcuterie plates available. Plus, with changing themes and ingredients, the cocktails are equally as moreish; expect tipples such as the Mara (Navy Strength Gin, honeydew, sake and lemongrass) or the Gilgamesh (small batch rum, banana, roasted barley, rainwater madeira and Chinese five spice).
