Description
Shambles Brewery was founded by a few mates with a shared love of beer. It started with a backyard brewing, and now they've got a really big shed filled with really big, shiny tanks in the heart of Hobart.
They've also got a bar on site serving their beers (and other local beverages) as well as delicious food, table tennis, a fire pit, a beer garden, and some very meticulously stacked firewood.
they'd like to say they're open anytime day or night... but someone's gotta actually brew the beer. So they're open from 4pm Wednesday and Thursday, and from midday on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They are also available for bookings and private functions (check out their website for more info).
About the only thing they like better than making beer is drinking it, so go and join them for a pint.

Shambles has an outdoor beer garden, a front bar, and a warehouse where we make our beer and play table tennis. It is our brewery warehouse that is available for private function bookings. The warehouse has a long, wide permanent table with bench seats, a number of smaller moveable tables with stools, a couch, a permanent (brickwork) table tennis table, a sound system, lighting, shared toilet facilities and a private function bar. Additional trestle tables and stools can be set up on request. Sorry, we do not host 18th or 21st birthday events. If we are not made aware that this is the type of event you are booking, then we will cancel the event on arrival (with no refunds). |
