Description
One of the best hidden bars in Adelaide, Maybe Mae is accessible only through the discreet tunnel found between Perth and Leigh Street. Once you’ve made your way down the unassuming flight of stairs, you’ll be greeted by a slick bar decked out with 1950s decor. We’re talking plush leather booths, embellished mirrors and sexy lighting.
The cocktail menu is divided into four sections: From The Market, which features fresh, local ingredients; From The Cellar, a selection of mixes made from preserved produce that was found at the peak of its season; Hall Of Fame, a list of popular concoctions that are staying put; and Non-Alcoholic, which speaks for itself. Highlights include the Bill Murray, a combination of lemon, mint, apricot liqueur and whisky, shaken over ice.
