The weekend was great, please could you have a think about ticket entry this year. Last year it took a very long time to get our prebooked wristbands for the weekend. Those people who hadn't pre-booked were able to walk straight in while the rest of us had to wait anywhere between 30 and 60 minutes in line. Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

Don't worry Emma - we have a plan! Please bring the sunshine and have fun. Sorry about last year but we weren't expecting so many people, this year we are.

Friday night was very good and everything went smoothly.New ticket and entry system wasn't great but got there in the end. Well done to all involved. Saturday was somewhat different as the numbers turning up where a bit hard to cater for. Drinks ran out early on and food que was well over an hour which meant that over half the money I took to spend stayed in my pocket. I don't say this as a criticism as all involved work flat out but these issues need looking at before people stop coming. Shame to make money on tickets but not be able to provide food and drink to the numbers that arrived. All a learning curve and still a bloody good weekend.Keep it up and learn from mistakes it will go on for years.. Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

I enjoyed bardfest but felt the bands on Saturday were not the greatest, with the local band, who are good but you can see them any time,headlining...... Also ,there was no fair rides or anything similar like last year for my 13 year old son.I know I am not alone on these options and hope others will in fact inform you their opinion rather than not attend next year Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

5 star. Great event. I would position the 2nd stage more to the front be in the corner so that people can access easier, its more visible and the sound from the 2nd stage is not lost when the main stage is playing. Otherwise just bring a little more beer so it doesnt run out. Otherwise cracking event and well done Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

We went on Saturday with our 2 and 4 year old girls and loved it!!! Very well organised and we stayed until 10pm (which I wasn't expecting). Have already recommended to a number of people and we hope to come again next year. Thank you and we preferred it than Jimmys festival (which we went to 2 years ago) Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

Cracking Saturday night ( couldn't make the Friday sadly ) Staff fantastic as always . Great bands to sing and dance to . Great bumping into old friends and making new ones . My 3rd year - incredibly disappointed with the sound this year. It isn't a bit site and although we were beyond the FEW hay bales this year the sound was so quiet. However it was fine for the last band?? To be honest it was only when Whamtastic, ABBA, Noasis hit the chorus that we could tell what song they were singing. Also an incredibly long queue to get in despite having an E-ticket, they ran out of lemonade for the Pimms so used TONIC water!!!!!! The queue for food was also ridiculous. They obviously sold more tickets than they could cope with this year and I will think seriously before going again which is a shame as I live locally. Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

First Bardfest, lots of fun. Shame about the sound system, but still enjoyed. Next year can you publish details of all the band's and music styles on the website as we missed some we didn't know about until we arrived and saw running times and info in the flyer. We will be back. Thanks Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

Good time was had by all, however disappointed not to have the rides there this year! Also very disappointed with the wham tribute act...it wasnt a wham tribute act as only one person and he didn't look or sound like george michael. Sixth sense were fab as always Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

Was a great weekend. Only thing that let it down for my partner was they ran out of cider then ran out of a larger too. Could have been more stocked up as it happen the year before too, so knowing this year was going to be bigger we had expected there to be more. Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

Great bands but the sound kept cutting out. Friday night my daughter got covered in beer, pushed and punched in the dance area as people were trying to get on stage. Security did nothing until the lead singer of walkway shouted over the mic. Saturday there were far too many people there, we felt trapped like sardines in a can and left early we also stood in line for 35 mins to get a drink and 40 mins to get a burger. As regular Bardfest supporters it was a bit of a let down. Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

Was a good event with a great friendly atmosphere. Noasis were fab, just was a little disappointed in the lack of variety in the other bands. Maybe shorter sets with more bands? It was my first time so maybe I just expected more. I will come back again :) Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

Really great night enhanced by the wonderful weather , the music was overall impressive . We went on the Saturday and the catering in particular was under a lot of pressure and the Pimms soon ran out and i managed two pints of cider before that ran out and the Ghost Ship had gone because Friday night attendance was double last year very difficult to gauge ! A lot of volunteers did a huge amount of work. Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

Absolutely brilliant afternoon and evening on saturday. Superb organisation made all very easy (parking, money vouchers, clean and plentiful loos). Delicious food too - the only downside was the long queue (50 mins) and shame the Pimms ran out. But that's the only minor negative to a fantastic time. A massive thank you to all the amazing volunteers. Cannot wait until next year. Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

Had a brilliant friday night watching walkway. Your toilet facilities were terrible this year. Bardfest has got greedy..while i asked this old women in the pavilion can i use the toilet in the pavilion as theres no toilet roll or lights all she did was smirk at me and give me a toilet roll so i thru it. Sat night was a pile of shit. Friday night Cueing up for 30 minutes pathetic. You made out it was going to be a sell out and we must buy tickets online. Bardfest sort better toilets out like you had last year. Also you never stock enough booze.and i didnt drink.sort yourselves out better next year or i no plenty that wont bother. You ban booze aloud in but dont stock enough. Do the maths. Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

Thoroughly enjoyed the Friday night event. One improvement which should be made is three check-ins, Cash, cards and QR coded tickets, this year there was a cash lane and "all others", if attendees have QR coded tickets they should be "flashed" through. Please don't say it was due to extra security measures because the longest delay was AFTER bag checking, We heard several people in the queue making the same comment. Shame to pay to get in then have to spend most time queuing missing the music.but I have to say the volunteers worked there areas off.well done to them.will go again.thanks to all Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

We had a wonderful time. Friday night was brilliant. Saturday we felt it would have been nice if tea and coffee was more readily available (the urn they had kept running out and there was long waits) and an icecream van would have been wonderful. Whamtastic were a bit disappointing, we'd expected a group and more wham hits rather than a lot of George Michael. Other than that it was fab!!!! It was our first time and we didn't know about the cards you had to buy for food etc so we queued for ages only to be told we had to go and queue for a card to then go back to the food queue; a heads up when you came into the event would be helpful if its someone's first time. It was a fun, well organised event and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to all involved! Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

First time visitors, group of 4 adults and 3 children. All had a fab time, we will definitely be back. Food and drink good as was most of the music (some a bit hit and miss but that's a festival!) Children's play area also a good idea. Well organised, food queues got very large in the early evening, glad we ate earlier to avoid this! Very well organised event! The crew/staff/volunteers are amazing. Always smiling and helpful. The food and drinks available were very good. As sundial some good music acts.Recommended ideas for future events: 1. Great night had on both days, the bands were spot on, however........ things that should be tweaked for next year Booking tickets online were cheaper but the queue to get in on the Friday was horrendous, easier to pay on the night and get straight through Everything was crammed into one area of the field so became cramped, especially on the Sat night. Food queue needs looking at Sound wasn't great towards the back, could've done with being a bit louder Bar tables spread around were a good idea Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

First time coming to the event and found it brilliant. I came with two children aged 8 and 3 and found the day fabulous! I thought food and drink was reasonably priced. Given I'm on a budget it was nice to be able to enjoy ourselves without worrying over every penny. The staff, crew were amazing and so friendly. It made the day. If I could be fussy I'd love more sheltered areas. Like the gazebos or table with parasols. Just kids struggled in heat and I did too. We had a sheltered area but think more of would be fab. Otherwise, wow. Amazing. Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

We went last year and really enjoyed it. This year however whilst we enjoyed ourselves because of friends, we thought the sound wasn't all that good. We sat behind the hay bales, which there needs to be more of, we could hardly hear the bands further back so more sound systems required. I love the idea of the cashless system but we thought the beer was a little on the expensive side £4 per pint. They also ran out of lemonade for the pimms and tonic water was used instead - not good. We bought tickets in advanced which was a great price and we'll try again next year but needs to improve on the sounds. Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

A great event with some great bands ... would be even better if the catering could be organised to prevent half hour queues to get food and 15 minutes for a gin at times. Couldve spent more money if they hadn't run out of gin .... Not an ABBA fan but they were excellent .... overall excellent weekend just needed more gin and faster food delivery to reduce queues .... but for an event run by volunteers well done despite this! A great event in great surroundings. If you are after a taster to what a music festival is all about then Bardfest would be a great introduction. Well organised with a very welcoming atmosphere, the added attraction of a real ale beer fest within its confines adds to further enhance its appeal. A weekend certainly worth experiencing. Loved Bardfest again this year. What could be better than sunshine, bands, Pimms and great food? However, I think Scripin added an extra fun dimension that was missing this year, please bring them back! And although the bands were good, none of them was as good as the Rolling Clones from 2016. How about the Rolling Clones for 2018? Thanks for a great weekend! Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

Yes, I was disappointed in the end with the music variability. I paid three pounds more on Saturday thinking the music in the evening would have lots of choice and that both stages would have end to end music. When we arrived at seven forty, no group on. When the Abba tribute came on they didn't want to leave the stage they were on for too long, with nobody on the other stage to go to. When that stage did get someone on they were not very good, no atmosphere, no dancing music. Then a very long gap with waiting for the headline group. They were ok but the lead singer was at times out of tune and they had electrical problem. A lot of waiting round time. The queues for food were stupid. Miles long the whole evening so we did not eat. Need more tents with food. The pimms ran out too, so did not get a drink had to walk to the Dunn cow to get one. I believe Friday was good. But on the whole needs much improvement. Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07

event was well organized and there was a calm relaxed jovial atmosphere which added to the evening, all support staff were brilliant and went out of the way to assist in making the event great,, I liked the idea of using payment cards when paying for goodies, only let down was sixth sense the lead singer vocals did not seem to be as good as his norm, with the sun shining in the day and no evidence of a chill in the air I am already planning on my return next year Visited Church Meadow on 2017-07-07
