THE FILM – The Greatest Showman (Film starts: 19:45)
A film that Celebrates the birth of show business, and tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.
Orphaned, penniless but ambitious and with a mind crammed with imagination and fresh ideas, the American Phineas Taylor Barnum will always be remembered as the man with the gift to effortlessly blur the line between reality and fiction. Thirsty for innovation and hungry for success, the son of a tailor will manage to open a wax museum but will soon shift focus to the unique and peculiar, introducing extraordinary, never-seen-before live acts on the circus stage. Some will call Barnum's wide collection of oddities, a freak show; however, when the obsessed showman gambles everything on the opera singer Jenny Lind to appeal to a high-brow audience, he will somehow lose sight of the most important aspect of his life: his family.
THE VENUE - Newhaven Fort
Steeped in war history and cloaked in mystery and protected by its impressive ramparts, Newhaven Fort has been keeping its secrets safely hidden for almost 150 years. The last of a long series of defences built on the cliffs overlooking Seaford Bay. Dating back to the Iron Age, the site has seen updated many times to what you see today, this well hidden fort tucked and built into the hill top, makes for an iconic venue to sit back and watch a selection of great films within.
Boats left from below its walls for the infamous D-Day Landings of the Second World War. Something truly quite special about this venue and one we recommend you book in early for.

When the film ends, all you need to do is get up and leave without lugging all your bits back to the car.

This year we have 2 different seating options available this season:
Firstly our simple but comfortable directors style garden chairs and secondly our ultimate luxury VIP Air beds, with their blanket and pillow for the perfect seating options under the stars.
Please be FULLY aware, that the VIP Airbed and Directors style garden chairs are the seating options only, you still MUST PURCHASE a cinema entry ticket as well for each person. This is a chair only and does not include the ticket for entry.

Cinestock began in 2013 by two men with a seemingly impossible vision; to create a cinema in the middle of a field during the great British Summer time. And look how far we've come! We started with one event and ended our last season with phenomenal impact with 'E.T in the High Street', an event that saw East Grinstead come to a stand still as people poured in from the local community to watch a true classic.
But the fun doesn't end there, this year our organisers have been busy ever-pushing the limits of local street-cinema and we are proud to present to you a season of amazing films.
T&Cs
1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
