We are back at this unique and stunning venue and things just got a lot more exciting, this year we locate our movie screenings in the fantastic forest setting at Groombridge. With full bar and catering located within the woods. This will be a fantastic location and setting for the films we have selected.
The first of several films we are screening this summer at Groombridge is another Spielberg classic in the way of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
A truly unique and stunning setting for our film screenings this summer, sit back relax as the sun sets over the forest and river, let the kids explore the extensive forest activities before the film starts. Listen to fantastic live music that we provide before every film screening we do.
THE FILM - Raiders of the lost ark (Film Starts: 20:15)
Nazi Germany is close to finding the mystical Ark of the Covenant, and only one man can stop them. Armed with his trusty whip and fetching perma-stubble, Indiana Jones, archaeology prof and heartthrob extraordinaire (Harrison Ford), ventures forth from the halls of academia to find the Ark before the Nazis get their greasy little paws on it. His path leads him to the Himalayas, where he reunites with his old flame Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen) and indulges in a bit of karmic schadenfreude when the local Gestapo agent (Ron Lacey) has his palm melted off.
From there, we head to British-controlled Cairo, where the German army has apparently been given free rein to machine-gun anyone they wish. Cue the action.

Take the hard work out of your evening, and replacing it with comfort and ease, when you book one of our two options for seating, both affordable and so much easier then bringing along all your own gear. When the film ends, all you need to do is get up and leave without lugging all your bits back to the car.
At Cinestock we like to enhance your viewing experience wherever and however we can, that’s why last season we started introducing VIP Seating. It was so popular and sold out at every screening in advance, so make sure you book early to avoid disappointment.

This year we have 2 different seating options available this season:
Firstly our simple but comfortable directors style garden chairs
Secondly our ultimate luxury VIP Air beds, with their blanket and pillow for the perfect seating options under the stars.
Please be FULLY aware, that the VIP Airbed and Directors style garden chairs are the seating options only, you still MUST PURCHASE a cinema entry ticket as well for each person. This is a chair only and does not include the ticket for entry.
