We are very excited to be returning to one of our favourite venues in the South East, for lake side screenings of great films in this stunning location. We bring you one of the best films of the 2000’s with the screening of this great Tom Hanks spectacular ‘Cast Away’

THE FILM - Cast Away (Film starts: 19:30)

Chuck Noland is a FedEx systems engineer whose personal and professional life are ruled by the clock. His fast-paced career takes him, often at a moment's notice, to far-flung locales and away from his girlfriend, Kelly. On one such trip, Chuck's manic existence abruptly halts when his plane goes down in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and he becomes stranded on a remote, uninhabited island.

He is the only survivor. With no one there to vote him off the island, Chuck makes the best of it. First, he must find a way to meet basic human needs (food, water and shelter), which he accomplishes with the help of various FedEx packages that have washed ashore with him. There is one package with an angel wing logo on it that he does not open. Along with a picture of Kelly, it becomes a symbol of hope and a reason to endure.

THE VENUE

The Weirwood Sailing club, set on the stunning ashdown forest, is the perfect location for some of this years fantastic films. Set on the banks of the Weirwood Reservoir the Sailing club is perfect for our film screenings again this summer.

Also a fantastic addition to any outdoor friendly family, were the club offers sailing, kayaking, fishing and much much more to the local community.

Firstly our simple but comfortable directors style garden chairs and secondly our ultimate luxury VIP Air beds, with their blanket and pillow for the perfect seating options under the stars.

Please be FULLY aware, that the VIP Airbed and Directors style garden chairs are the seating options only, you still MUST PURCHASE a cinema entry ticket as well for each person. This is a chair only and does not include the ticket for entry.
