After a decade of closure, Goodbar reopened in 2016 showcasing a sleek new makeover and a roster of incredible live DJs. Now one of Sydney's most popular nightlife spots, the swanky bar and basement is heaving every weekend.

Open 'til 4am on Friday and Saturdays, the industrial-style venue takes inspiration from dance bunkers in Berlin and New York, with quirky neon lights, exposed concrete walls and luxe leather booths. On the ground floor, you'll find a gourmet bar snack menu made up of charcuterie platters, steaming toasties and truffle-topped popcorn along with a selection of carefully crafted cocktails.

If you're looking to dance through to the early hours though? You'll want to follow the blue neon arrows which lead to the basement and a thumping den of techno beats and international house. Previous guest DJs include Patrick Topping, Idris Elba and Seth Troxler. There is also a private bar area which is available for exclusive hire; perfect for a sophisticated birthday bash or VIP night out in Paddington.
