Manchester Brewery Tours launched in September 2016 with this very special walking tour of 3 Manchester microbreweries.
Tours running every month with private tours on request.
Your guide will meet you at Vimto Park near Piccadilly Station at 1pm. Click here for a map.
We'll then begin a stroll down to what has become known as the Piccadilly Beer Mile.
We will be visiting the following places for a special behind the scenes look at the fantastic breweries that have congregated in the industrial landscape of Manchester's railway arches.
BEER NOUVEAU BREWERY TOUR
The first stop of the day is at Beer Nouveau. Steve’s passion for brewing shines through on this tour where you will learn what goes into making great beer. Smells the hops and grains plus full tour of the brewery – and of course some tastings too!
ALPHABET BREWERY TAP & GRUBMCR
Alphabet Brewery’s taproom is a short walk away for our second stop. We’ll taste the beers whilst you get chance to grab some delicious munch from GRUB’s weekly food festival. With live DJ’s inside the brewery, and amazing street art on the walls this is a great stop on the tour.
CLOUDWATER TAPROOM
Cloudwater is rapidly becoming known throughout the world for their award winning beers. Our last stop of the day sees us visit the taproom for tastings of craft beer plus a take home bottle. Spend the rest of your evening at your leisure in the brewery tap after the tour.
A few more details
This tour is a leisurely afternoon stroll however does require some walking so be prepared and also remember to bring a brolly if it's raining. We expect all people to drink and behave responsibly so as to ensure that everyone enjoys the experience. This is an informative introduction to beer brewing and tasting rather than a p*** up in a brewery! The tour does not allow fancy dress. Large groups are welcome but must be prepared to behave so that it doesn't affect the enjoyment of others on the tour.
After the tour finishes then guests may wish to spend time visiting the other amazing taprooms in the area. We'll be staying around for a few ourselves!

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
