West CNR brings American style all-day diners to the Northern Quarter in Manchester.
The venue arose from the refurbishment of the Hatters Hostel upstairs and takes its inspiration from New York's iconic delis and bars. West CNR fuses the classic aesthetics of the Big Apple's diners with black-and-white diamond shaped flooring with the more contemporary design of the sleek black bar with over-hanging glassware and polished, wooden furnishings. The walls are dotted with art work and full length mirrors, continuing the juxtaposition of the modern and the old school.
But the diner theme isn’t just found in the visuals: the food also takes inspiration, with the menu packed with burgers and classic brunch and lunch dishes, perfect for anyone feeling worse-for-wear in the morning or looking for a delicious, affordable meal in the evening. The ingredients are fresh and locally sourced from producers within the county. The drinks are a mix of craft beers and wines, fresh juices, cocktails and their own blend of coffee beans from local roasters Heart & Graft.
