Head down to The Oast House on August 7th to join their World Record attempt

So you wanna be a Record Breaker? Dedication's what you need - along with a penchant for large quantities of ale and the means to get yourself along to The Oast House on Weds August 7th to take part in their Guinness World Record attempt. 

The Spinningfields pub is hoping to smash the World Record for the World's largest ever ale tasting event - and you're invited. With the current record standing at just 267 people, The Oast House invite Manchester ale fans along to their courtyard from 5pm, where Beer Guru (yes, that's his actual job title - we've seen his business cards) Warren McCoubrey will lead the tasting of three ale samples in an attempt to break the record. 

The tasting starts at 6pm sharp, and there'll be a flagon of ale to crack open after the record attempt - with local band Acoustic Flair taking the party late into the night.
