Formerly known as M Twenty, Tiki M is an exotic offering located in West Didsbury, adding a bit of tropical flair and tiki style to the South Manchester area. Anyone who remembers M Twenty will testify to the intimate nature of this bar, which ensures a vibrant and fun atmosphere all week through, peaking on the weekends as you'd expect.

Instantly recognisable thanks to the bamboo exterior and the iconic 'M' above the door, this is definitely one of the most exciting bars in Didsbury and offering a fresh perspective on nightlife in South Manchester. Great night to start with until one friend offered a chewing gum to the rest of us and was wrongly mistaken for something else by the security guy this wasn't dealt with in a professional and fair manor, and we left disappointed. Security were rude and arrogant and due to this occasion I won't be returning or recommending to others.

Had a great time, good music and vibe. However the night was spoilt by the torrent of verbal abuse that I received from one of the bar men (white, short ish fairish hair - medium build - bit of an army type - maybe). After being completely ignored at the bar dispite waiting patiently, I shouted (due to the loud music, background noise etc..) that it was my turn to be served and not the woman's who'd only just walked up to the bar. The said bar man turned around and shouted 'don't f@cking shout at me, |i've only just f@cking come on I don't know who is f@cking next so shut the f@ck up!' in a very aggressive manner. I don't expect that sort of abuse from a man (I am a woman) and felt totally humiliated and upset. There was no need for it and I hadn't sworn at him. He should not be in the job if he can't be polite and treat customers with respect. He acted like a bully and should not be working in a customer facing environment - sick to the TA mate!
