The Screen Printing Workshop

This is a up-cycling workshop where you have the chance to transform your unwated or unused items from home.

Bring items from home to print onto such as t-shirts, napkins, note books or canvases. Dig around at home or visit your local charity shop to find items to screen print onto.

Prep.

If you have time and the materials to do so, have a go at making your own stencils at home so that you can spend more time printing.

I recommend you use thin acetate sheets to make the stencils, keep it simple and keep it under A3 size.

If you have any questions about the stencil making, feel free to call me or send me a message.

Bring 3 - 4 items to screen print onto.

Note.

Please arrive to the venue 5 minutes before the workshop begins so we can all begin together, thank you.

This workshop is suitable for all levels.

All materials and equipment are provided for these workshops.

I will be providing aprons for you but please wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty as the screen printing inks do stain.

Due to table space, please do not bring large items to print onto such as a duvet cover and large canvases.

At the end of the workshop please clean your space and the equipment you used, thank you.

Nicole Line Workshops
The idea is to show local communities how to use Nicole's equipment without being in a professional studio. The workshops are aimed at beginners through to experienced artists and the relaxed environment allows both abilities to mix together and collaborate, sharing ideas, techniques and developing concepts. The aim is to pass on skills to others and by the end of the workshop those involved will be taught how to use the equipment to suit their needs and abilities. The workshops are for those who just want to try something new, or to pursue a career in the craft. Nicole has all sorts of people who attend the workshops from students who are wanting to start a portfolio, fashion designers who are wanting to learn a new technique for their collection, business men and women who need a break from their regular routine. The workshops are open to all. At the end of the workshop participants will have learnt how to use the equipment, where to source the materials, how to set up a studio space at home. Participants will also have a collection of fabric and paper samples and a range of finished products to take home.
