London's very first Croatian pop up concept restaurant with a mission to capture summer and now even christmas! 

Our promise is to make you feel like you've stopped for a summers night on the Croatian coast. 

Our chef is brought in exclusively for Venturin from Hvar- the crown of the Adriatic. She herself is a child of two islands. Island Hvar & Island Vis. Hvar gives her passion. Vis gives her tranquility. Both are felt in her cooking. It really does not get more Authentic than this.

We will be open for a month on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturday evenings. On Fridays & Saturday we will encourage you to stay with us till late with old friends & new. Our closing time on Fridays and Saturdays is 2am.

 Our Chef: 

 Venturin’s eminent Chef Maja Mackovic is the daughter of Ivan Buzolic ,the first Croatian culinary judge and World Master Chef. Amongst her many awards, Maja was the first female chef ever to win a gold medal at the highly acclaimed International Gastronomy Awards. She is the current President of the Woman Chefs League Association  and also Project Manager for the Croatian Master Chefs Association. 

On the Venturin stage, Maja will take you on a culinary journey through Dalmatians traditional recipes adding her own modern finesse.

Your Host: 

Britt Sanja’s credentials as an event organiser and socialite are extensive, having worked for some years with Ignite Group, of Boujis night club fame. She then went on to found the Nude Noir, Food Noir and House of Noir concepts, staging a series of multi-sensory theatrical events across London and Croatia. Such has been her occupation for some 13 years.

The name Venturin comes from a long forgotten word used in Dalmatia by local fisherman, in reference to night fishing. It means “the last dark before the sunrise.” As ever, an element of Noir fuels the fire.
