Howling Hops brewery and tank bar in Hackney Wick is the first of its kind in the UK. We brew an ever changing range of bold, characterful, uncompromised and generously hopped beers with bags of flavour.
After 5 years of perfecting our brewing process we’ve decided to open our doors and show you back stage! On this tour you will learn the history of Howling Hops, the brewing process, a look at the various hops and malts and at what makes us different to other breweries.
The tour includes a drink of your choice upon arrival and a tasting flight of five different beers at the end of the tour. All beers are freshly poured from our serving tanks (The UK’s first dedicated tank bar). We will talk you through the beers to help you choose.
Each tour is for a maximum of 10 people. The whole tour is available to be booked as a group activity or can be a mixture of smaller groups.

Trailblazing BBQ connesuirs Billy Smokes, our in house BBQ bandits, serve up a British twist on authentic american bbq. The perfect Beer food!
Where are we?
We are based in Hackney Wick, so we there’s a couple of ways you get to us. We don’t have huge signs and it’s very industrial. We are in Queens Yard, just off White Post Lane, next to The White Building which is just off the canal. If you cross the canal, you’ve gone too far!
Bus – the main routes are the 399 & 276 – jump off at White Post Lane
Overground - if you get on the overground, jump off at Hackney Wick (NB: Station closed Sundays up to June 2017)
Car – If you’re thinking of driving, we should warn you that we are unable to offer any parking space. Though you may be able to find some space on the streets.
Cycling – if you’re cycling, you can reach us by going along the canals. Look out The White Building. It’s a lovely ride!
Q & A’s
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
- Unfortunately not.
If I’m late will I still be allowed on the tour?
- If the tour is in progress we tend to leave a 15 min grace period, however you will miss the beginning of the tour.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
- No the confirmation email will do.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
- That will be OK but we'll need an email to confirm the change from the original ticket buyer.
Is there are any health and safety advice?
Please wear closed-toe shoes. The tour is suitable for those with gluten allergies (however we have no gluten free beers). Please do let us know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements.

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
