The team behind South Pole Saloon, Design My Night's "Best Pop-Up London 2015" are back! This time turing their versatile rooftop space into a 1980s playground. Join us this summer as we wind back the clocks and turn up the heat - as we bring the glittering Miami beach to the heart of Brixton for a series of day & night parties that will bring you a whole host of street food, immersive performances and refreshing Summer cocktails!

Miami 1982. The air hangs thick and heavy as temperatures run high along the sun kissed boards of The Boulevard. Palm trees throw shade over the pastel coloured buildings of the strip - a daylight costume that fades as the sun goes down, and gives way to the glittering jacket of night time. This is a neon city where girls in short skirts with golden tans work their way into the hearts of the bad boys of the beach. But all that glitters ain't gold in this popping playground, for high-rollers, roller stackers, lover makers and money takers.

This summer we will be transforming our rooftop space in Brixton into a 1980s Miami beach complete with food, drinks, music and a live outdoor screen for an amazing Summer of sport. Escape the hustle & bustle of London & transport yourself into our immersive 80's experience.

Great night out, DJs on point and venue was excellent - queues barely existed for drinks and the food was mostly of good quality. Only negative point is the rice in my chicken burrito was severely undercooked - is it that hard to boil rice? Patrick visited Brixton Beach on 19 Aug 2016

It's a really fun night out....shame about the weather but then that's no surprise! Good tunes, nice drinks and tasty food. It's great to go somewhere different to a bar Emily visited Brixton Beach on 16 Aug 2016

I LOVED the beach boulevard, but they could have done with more speakers all round! Good selection of drinks "huts" & great food from the ladies doing the lamb sausages! Yummy! Mary visited Brixton Beach on 14 Aug 2016

Great music and interesting venue but speakers not loud enough, no soap in the toilet, very rude door staff apparent for no reason, food and drinks expensive (£7 for 200ml cocktail...outrageous). Poria visited Brixton Beach on 10 Aug 2016

It is a really nice area but that's where the niceness ends. The door staff really weren't nice. They refused re-entry even when it was empty at the beginning of the night to find friends and show them where it is. Then it got way too crowded for a crowd controlled event. Go early to check it out for free then head over to POP Brixton instead. Jinesh visited Brixton Beach on 10 Aug 2016

Brixton Beach boulevard was amazing!! Had the best birthday because of it!! I had reserved a little area and they upgraded me to a booth, everyone got in no problems and had an amazing time!! Drinks were great and reasonably priced and all the staff were brilliant. Andre showed us around and was very nice. Music and atmosphere were great! Music outside finishes at 10pm then the inside club is open till 12am so I suggest getting there early from around 2pm to make the most of it!! Definitely recommend this place and definitely going back!! Emily Emily visited Brixton Beach on 10 Jul 2016

Great place. Fun and different way to spend a Saturday afternoon/evening. Was a little busy which meant it was a bit of a wait at the bar etc but nothing drastic! Music in the evening wasn't to our taste so we left a little earlier than planned. Was just a shame as the music in the daytime was brilliant! Charlotte visited Brixton Beach on 11 Aug 2016

As usual with many potentially-good things in London, greed rules the entry policy. WAY too busy; pointless going on weekends. Not worth the wait just for a bit of sand Jen visited Brixton Beach on 05 Aug 2016

Great vibe. Get there early to secure seating if there's a group of you. Fun music, good drinks. Check out the night club - it's like a tacky European club (in the best way possible). sofieelizaprice visited Brixton Beach on 02 Aug 2016

Absolutely CROWDED, nowhere to sit, people were louder than the music, drinks overpriced, staff absolutely awful... I asked if I could go out and come back since I live nearby and had forgotten my medication home, security guy literally yelled at me "Once you're out you're out" three times, not even trying to listen to me. Not human. Everything is designed to make you drink to forget you even spent money like a fool to go there... Well, if you manage to access the bar. SO disappointing. Just go there overdressed if you want to see and be seen, it seems to be the only point of the place. Don't try and have a good time... So sad. Julie visited Brixton Beach on 05 Aug 2016

A nice evening out, assuming there's no rain. A lively buzz with nice music and a good mixed crowd. A lot quieter on a weekday, obviously. But a nice alternative as is becoming more common in Brixton. Kema visited Brixton Beach on 26 Jul 2016

Went on a Saturday. It was very busy, no space to sit. The drinks were overpriced for what they were. Quality of cocktails were shocking. Paid £7 for entry, we stayed 5minutes. Didn't even finish our drinks. Awful. Sonia visited Brixton Beach on 29 Jul 2016

Great day and night. Tunes were spot on and good atmosphere. Aeroplane was quality too. The food stalls had some nice stuff and the nightclub at the back was bouncing. Highly recommend Avril visited Brixton Beach on 30 Jul 2016

People weren't made aware that the queue outside was for people who hadn't booked guaranteed tickets so people who had booked tickets queued for almost an hour for no reason. This happened to myself and a few other groups of people. There should have been a sign to indicate where ticket holders and non-ticket holders should queue. Great idea and a lot of fun but the queue to the bar was so slow with many people pushing in creating a few arguments. Becky visited Brixton Beach on 27 Jul 2016

there was nowhere to sit. There was 1 bar. How do they manage with 1 bar when they are busy? Limited food options. It's a nice idea & the marketing is great, but it's pretty small. The music was good. I'm just not sure if it lives up to the hype. Nancy visited Brixton Beach on 20 Jul 2016

Overly busy, could barely walk through the crowds there was so little room. Attempted to get a drink. Got bored of waiting. There needs to be more control of how many people go in at a time so it's more pleasant for everyone Keara visited Brixton Beach on 22 Jul 2016

What a brilliant afternoon! We only stayed a few hours but I wish we had got there earlier as there was no where to sit! But a great day out, good music and great people. The free watermelon was a nice little touch and as we were there on the hottest day of the year it was appreciated by all :) will be back soon and will stay longer. katy visited Brixton Beach on 22 Jul 2016

Really fun place! The little boulevard club is a great addition! If only it was open a little later. They played a lot of trancy/electronic music in the club, would be great if they had played a bit more variety like some grime, hip hop or rnb aswell just to break it up a bit for those not so into electronic music. Although was great fun regardless.. Would definitely go back again :) Raffaella visited Brixton Beach on 20 Jul 2016

Such a cool little spot! Cool vibes & tasty food. The only complaint I have is paying £7 each for the pina colada/strawberry daiquiri slush puppies served in a small plastic cup being sold at one of the stalls. Although they were lush, the price was definitely extortionate for the size! A few parasol brollies would have also been ideal with all that direct heat. Kemi visited Brixton Beach on 17 Jul 2016

Good venue, needs more seating. I'd avoid the weekend as there are way too many people and you have to queue for everything for over 20 mins! But it's great as a one-off!

too many people crammed into the venue. Took 30 minutes to get a drink. Queued for the toilets twice for 20 minutes only to be told that there was no water and they were closing them. One of the worst places I've been to. Nadia visited Brixton Beach on 09 Jul 2016

Venue was extremely busy, took 30 mins to get to front of bar which was sold out of most drinks by 1900 on a Sat night. Took just as long to get to the toilet. Far too many people however was a good night. Wouldn't be in a hurry to return but would recommend as a once off. Amy visited Brixton Beach on 06 Jul 2016

Took forever at the bar which was out of stock of basic drinks (wine, cider, beer)all before 7pm on a Saturday. Found the nightclub bit near the back which had a bar too which wasn't as busy. Overall a good night but the venue doesn't have the facilities to accommodate the number of people they let in. zara visited Brixton Beach on 08 Jul 2016

Fantastic venue, music, street food and atmosphere. So easy to get to and a great way to spend an afternoon to evening in the sunshine.
