In Association with The Gypsy Jazz Festival of London

we present

Two Parisian Legends in London.

In an exclusive concert at Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club, GJFL is proud to introduce two absolute legends of the uniquely European Jazz style, Daniel John Martin and Noé Reinhardt. Daniel and Noé are two of the most recognised and respected figures on the global Gypsy Jazz circuit.

DANIEL JOHN MARTIN

Anglo-French violinist and vocalist Daniel John Martin is one of the most active and valued members of the Paris jazz scene. He has worked alongside many of the greats, including Angelo Debarre, Romane, Adrien Moignard and Boulou Ferré. Daniel studied at the famous Paris Conservatoire, and toured and recorded with the late great Didier Lockwood. He has released several successful albums, most recently “Rendez-Vous” with friend and collaborator Romane. Daniel’s infectious style and charm warms the hearts, and ears, of all those who see him perform.

NOÉ REINHARDT

Noé is one of the finest guitarists in the world, a credit to his family name. He is known for his subtlety in approach and gripping but humorous improvisation. A truly consummate musician, his debut album, “Eleven Standards,” released in 2011 was a hit. A member of the prestigious ‘Selmer 607’ collective, he has graced the stages of some of Europe’s top jazz clubs. Notably he recently spoke and performed at Django in June, in New England, USA.

These two Parisian masters will be joined by a rhythm section of some of the UK’s elite Gypsy Jazz players.
