This years event was great. All the people at the bars were in great spirits and super organised. Was quick and easy to get a drink which was far improved from March's event in london which was far too busy. Really great day! Claire visited Bedford Square Gardens on 29 Jul 2017

Loved it! Didn't feel like you were in London at all. Great variety and lots of choice for drinks but maybe have a few more food options next time! Laura visited Bedford Square Gardens on 28 Jul 2017

Fantastic evening, great setting. Some great cocktails tasted, made by some very talented people. Loved the Chivas blending, will definitely be attending next year. Stuart visited Bedford Square Gardens on 28 Jul 2017

Would have been five stars if it wasn't for the extremely muddy garden due to the heavy rain - could have done with something being put on the grass to make it easier to walk around and more covered in areas, apart from that the drinks were great, the bartenders were great and we have a fab time despite the rain visited Bedford Square Gardens on 29 Jul 2017

Great cocktails however our experience was spoilt by the weather. I would suggest that Cocktails in the City put up large marquees in future years if the weather is bad. There were not enough seats under cover. Also very limited food available. Samantha visited Bedford Square Gardens on 29 Jul 2017

Really great event which was well managed and thoroughly enjoyable. Tickets were easy to purchase and the arrival / check in process was friendly and straight forward. The only thing that I would suggest would be to have tap water available for people and a wider variety of food. The effort that people put into the production of their bars was great and really added to the experience. Sadly the weather was dreadful in the afternoon but there were undercover areas. Will come again. Jon visited Bedford Square Gardens on 29 Jul 2017

More covered seating was required as the weather was terrible and only two cocktail options were included for the welcome drink and both were orange based........ not good if you don't like orange based cocktails! visited Bedford Square Gardens on 29 Jul 2017

Although my friends & I made an effort to enjoy ourselves, the weather made this difficult at times. Thankfully, the central marquee kept us dry for a bit. Mind you, the limited number of chairs meant some of us were standing for a long time. We absolutely LOVED the bars and their wonderful cocktails definitely kept us well lubricated throughout. The 'Silent Disco' was BRILLIANT! Having this element certainly enhanced the experience. Overall, we had a good time. We're just praying for sunny & warm weather next year cos we're certainly coming back! Cheers... LG W.Livingston visited Bedford Square Gardens on 29 Jul 2017

Nice idea, but unfortunately weather wasn't very good. Had few good cocktails and one not so good one. Taisi visited Bedford Square Gardens on 29 Jul 2017

Despite truly appalling weather we had an enjoyable evening. However, a female staff member on the welcome drink stand let the side down. I had asked for some of the ice to be removed from my drink, personal choice I don't like a lot of ice in any drink, she was incredibly rude and condescending and at one point in the exchange informed me she could count, I'm sure she could but she certainly couldn't listen. Would have been helpful to have known advance that cash was not accepted. Julie visited Bedford Square Gardens on 29 Jul 2017

Was a really lovely set up and if it had been a nice day this would have been amazing. Unfortunately it was torrential rain and although there isn't much the event coordinators can do about the weather it should have been better thought out with more cover from the rain, especially in front of the pop up bars, most didn't even have an awning. The toilets were also disgusting and clearly hadn't been cleaned all evening. I'd also like to see more food outlets especially as a vegetarian there was a very poor choice. Cocktails were great though as always but whole night was a bit of a let down. Jenny visited Bedford Square Gardens on 29 Jul 2017

Always a risk - open air event in a British summer ... but it was fab - you just had to get cozy in the big tent or get lucky with a table under a big umbrella - maybe more dry space would've been good. Everything else - especially the staff and stands - was excellent visited Bedford Square Gardens on 29 Jul 2017

It rained down, it poured!! but that did not dampen our Spirits. Sorry about the pun, but you get the picture. This was my 3rd year in a row and it did not disappoint. Looking forward to next year already. Well done to all the organisers and the bar staff who worked so hard. hazelcamille1 visited Bedford Square Gardens on 29 Jul 2017

Shame about the rain, but the drinks and food were amazing as always. I would like to see a little more free entertainment to get people moving around the venue. I loved the idea of the tasting experiences, but decided £15 on top of the £15 entry fee when you're paying for drinks was a bit much for that. However, I got the chance to do the tequila experience for free on the day and loved every minute of it. Sarah visited Bedford Square Gardens on 29 Jul 2017

Reasonably priced cocktails, all of which had plenty of alcohol in, no scimping! The only thing I would say for next year is due to the heavy rain (I know this can't be helped) the floor was just thick mud, it was like being at Glastonbury! Perhaps some decking or something could be put down to prevent this. But apart from that, a great night!! Jessica visited Bedford Square Gardens on 29 Jul 2017

Fantastic event again. Not as great as last year however due to a reduction of bars so not as much entertainment to go with it. Also, weather was really wet and there was only one small covered area which wasn't big enough for people to take shelter from so the organisers really need to make weather provisions especially as it had been forecast rain all week One final comment and it's something the organisers could work with the vendors on, although not related to the event itself. None of the bars are prepared for any questions relating to their normal day to day business. We attend to discover new places however the bars do not understand that they are also there to promote themselves and gain new business. So we asked at every bar we visited if they had information about their normal bar drinks, food menus and whether they had private events rooms but only one bar had a business card but even that was still limited. These bars need to have information readily available such as printed menus or promotional material to take away. I work for a large high street multinational company who is responsible for booking events for staff and customers. Only one bar could speak to me about private rooms but none had any information to take away which was disappointing. Not everyone is there just to have drinks. Most people are there to discover new places yet no one had any information or menus. Very odd Leanne visited Bedford Square Gardens on 29 Jul 2017

Good night but becoming a bit repetitive as this is the third year I've been. Would be nice to have free tastings or workshops for ticket holders to sign up for in advance. Otherwise it's just an expensive bar crawl with a limited drinks selection. visited Bedford Square Gardens on 28 Jul 2017

Always love Cocktails in the City and this summer was no exception. Best bar crawl ever as the bars come to you in one place. Weather wasn't kind this year but drinks were delicious and all the bar staff kept us smiling. Looking forward to the winter event but will be visiting some of these bars in the meantime :) visited Bedford Square Gardens on 28 Jul 2017

It was great fun, good value for cocktails in London. So much choice was just a shame about the weather but still fun. To make it a 5 out of 5 it could have done with another food option. Zoe visited Bedford Square Gardens on 28 Jul 2017

Had a fantastic time at the event. All the bars offered something unique and all staff were incredibly friendly. However we weren't aware that we couldn't pay in cash and felt this should have been better explained prior to the event as we showed up with a wallet of cash to enjoy our evening. Welcome staff could have better explained that we needed to purchase tokens and other information. Laura visited Bedford Square Gardens on 28 Jul 2017

I love this event because when you taste cocktails next to each other from lots of different barmen (& women!) you can really see the difference - I loved them more as the afternoon went on.... :) Really good fun to do with group of friends like we did. Drink water before you go to bed after though!!
