Launching its inaugural event, FILM & CHILL proudly presents the 1990 hit film HOME ALONE.  Starring Macauley Culkin, John Heard, Catherine O’Hara, Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern, this beloved Christmas classic and family favourite is celebrating its 28th anniversary this December and will be screened over the weekend to compliment the Christmas celebrations.

Located in the heart of Brixton at the famous Tunstall Studios, our studio screening room comfortably seats twenty people.

One of the key initiatives FILM & CHILL passionately believes in is celebrating independent filmmakers.  As a way to give back to this thriving community, FILM & CHILL are committed to supporting their work and provide an exciting opportunity for filmmakers to screen their work prior to the featured presentation and to a mainstream audience. To coincide with its launch, FILM & CHILL is delighted to present the critically acclaimed and IMDB certified BOX OFFICE SMASH by filmmaker and poet Phil Dunn as part of the proceedings.  Since its September debut at the Ritzy cinema and the BRIXTON DESIGN TRAIL/FILM & CHILL co-hosted festivities, BOX OFFICE SMASH has gone on to win major awards at the Macoproject Film Festival in New York, Pinnacle Film Awards, the Independent Short Awards and Royal Wolf Film Awards.

As part of the experience, FILM & CHILL will be bringing some festive fun and exhibiting a Winter Garden of Christmas-related entertainment with food, drink, art design and a live DJ performance.  Feel like a star as you arrive on the red carpet, have your photo taken and unwind in our relaxation zones.  For those who really want to ‘chill’ and take advantage of the FILM & CHILL experience, therapy, massage sessions and healthy living advice will be available.

Film & Chill is an intimate cinema event specialising in monthly film screenings in Brixton. Passionate about film, expect cult classics to major blockbusters, but with a committed emphasis to showcase independent filmmakers and their short films prior to the featured presentation.

T&Cs

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.

    Another great evening out at Film & Chill! Great location, relaxed atmosphere, cool vibes - all made so memorable by meeting new people. The film room is cozy and really has a 'living room' feel which is much more unique. Rediscovering classics such a 'Back to the Future' is terrific (how prophetic it is!), but also having the opportunity to watch independent short films - this is a real gem & true treat. I look forward going again (and again)!

    Great atmosphere! The rooftop is amazing and you can enjoy a nice afternoon with drinks and food before the film. The film room is really nice and comfortable as well and you can enjoy more drinks and food afterwards. It's a great experience overall and will be definitely going again.
