At Petersham Cellar, we have spent the last 5 years conducting varied tasting, events and dinners focused on specific wineries, regions and grape varietals.

During the rest of 2019, we have decided to go ‘back to basics’, with a series of tasting that will be a gentle introduction to our varied portfolio across Italy . We are featuring more wines than usual, 7 in fact, and importantly showcasing a range of our olive oil and food. Learn about grape varieties, regions, styles as well wine labels, laws and key facts about Italian wine. 

Hosted in our Delicatessan, surrounded by artisan produce, we invite you to enjoy a casual but informative wine tasting in a homely kitchen setting.

Each tasting features the following products with a welcome glass of Vintage Prosecco

Food is provided for guests to help themselves, and will include prosciutto San Daniele, cured cheese, olives and extra virgin olive oil with artisan bread to accompany.

These events are held in a homely, intimate setting. This means availability is limited with a maximum capacity of 8 people.

2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.

    The staff, venue, and overall experience was lovely. The event was marketed as a few hours long (I believe 9:30am-12:30pm) but we ended quite early. With this, I was expecting a bit more education or guidance on flowers than what was received. Overall, it was a nice morning but I was expecting just a bit more with the timing and cost.

    Really exceeded expectations! What a lovely night out, the 'chefs table' feeling and being part of a working kitchen was great, and the small group made it intimate and fun. The two chefs running our class were lovely, the food at the end was delicious, and the snacks & prosecco at the start was a nice touch. Hadn't expected a goodie bag either - it was so generous, the whole evening was such good value for money and I really recommend it.
