Floral Court Al Fresco: A unique al fresco theatre and dining experience in the heart of Covent Garden.

Enjoy an evening of live opera as our central courtyard is closed to the public for the very first time. Journey to Petersham Nurseries - an oasis of discovery and delight in the heart of Covent Garden - and enjoy an evening of opera under the stars in the breathtakingly beautiful Floral Court. 


King’s Head Theatre and Petersham Nurseries have joined forces for this special, one-off performance of Opera Undone: La Bohème. Radically distilled to sixty minutes, this ground breaking new production lays bare the essence of Puccini's classic tale of love and co-dependency as never before. 

The Petersham restaurant will host this intimate and exclusive experience in our beautiful central courtyard, Floral Court. Restaurant Director Damian Clisby has created a bespoke menu designed especially to complement the performance. A wine list, thoughtfully paired to the menu will also be available, and the courtyard bar will be open to enjoy after the performance with the company artists.

Guests will be welcomed with a cocktail and canape reception from 7pm, before taking their seats at 7.30pm.



Tickets cost £180 or £1260 for a table of 8.

A portion of each ticket sale will be donated to Kings Head Theatre (UK registered charity no 1161483) and enrol the buyer in their donor scheme. Should you prefer to donate this amount rather than enrol, simply leave a comment at the checkout.

    The staff, venue, and overall experience was lovely. The event was marketed as a few hours long (I believe 9:30am-12:30pm) but we ended quite early. With this, I was expecting a bit more education or guidance on flowers than what was received. Overall, it was a nice morning but I was expecting just a bit more with the timing and cost.

    Really exceeded expectations! What a lovely night out, the 'chefs table' feeling and being part of a working kitchen was great, and the small group made it intimate and fun. The two chefs running our class were lovely, the food at the end was delicious, and the snacks & prosecco at the start was a nice touch. Hadn't expected a goodie bag either - it was so generous, the whole evening was such good value for money and I really recommend it.
