Every year hundreds of comics bring comedy shows up to the internationally known Edinburgh Fringe. But the shows need to be tweaked, refined and perfected before August, so we have selected our favourite acts to preview at the Four Thieves in July. This is the behind-the-scenes, unique opportunity to see these Works in Progress that you won't get on TV. Come for a night or two, or the whole week. Our line-ups are subject to change, but here is who we have confirmed:
Wednesday 5th July - Tom Stade (Live at the Apollo) and John Lynn (Comedy Store)
Sunday 9th July - Ellie Taylor (Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, and more) and Robyn Perkins
Monday 10th July - Shappi Khorsandi (Mock the Week) and Andrew Ryan (Russell Howard's Good News)
Tuesday 11th July - Due to a TV filming, Andrew Maxwell can no longer perform. We will keep you posted with who we book, but it will most likely be Eshaan Akbar and DAVE CHAWNER.
Wednesday 12th July - Robin Ince (Infinite Monkey Cage) and John Hastings (BBC3: Seann Walsh's Late Night Comedy Spectacular)
Thursday 13th July - Tom Deacon (Capital FM, Rob Brydon Show)*, Nigel Ng and WRONG COMEDY (*Due to UNFORESEEN circumstances, ivo graham cannot make it. he sincerely apologises, and will return November 8th).
Wednesday 19th July - Hate N Live: This edgy, sell-out, hit comedy panel show features top comedians hating on topics YOU suggest. Do traffic wardens, politicians or the weather piss you off? Let the comedians vent your spleen for you! “Raucous dick swinging comedy” -Chortle
Wednesday 26th July - Dane Baptiste (Live at the Apollo, Sunny D) and Paul Chowdhry (Live at the Apollo)

2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
