Comedy lovers are in for a treat with this two weekend-long series of comedy double bills of Edinburgh preview shows at The Anglers.
Doors open at 8pm. First show starts at 8.20pm* Ticket price £5 per night to see both shows.

ROBERT OLDHAM - WORM'S RESOLVE (WIP)
After his 2018 Fringe debut Worm's lament (GuardiansTop Show of The Edinburgh Fringe) Rob is back with his 'Quirky, offbeat sensibilities that distil into smart jokes that rarely sound like anyone else's' - Chortle.
Worm's Resolve explores being right, being wrong & getting angry. Newspaper fonts, bows and arrows and nose piercings will also be discussed. Answers will be sought,
Jokes will be told & an impending sense of doom will be momentarily lifted! As seen on BBC Three & BBC One, as heard om BBC rado 4.

We're a ridiculously friendly comedy club showcasing the best of hand-picked new talent from the circuit as well as welcoming famous faces from the telly who drop in regularly to try new stuff.
Previous acts: Milton Jones, Lucy Porter, Hal Cruttenden, Josh Widdicombe, Sara Pascoe, John Robins, Luisa Omielan, Tom Allen,Danielle Ward, Rachel Parris, James Mulliger, Sy Thomas, Stephen Bailey & Jayde Adams plus our favourite new acts Mr Susie, David Mills, Laurence Owen, Lindsay Sharman, Tom Ward, Ian Lane.
We love a bit of musical comedy and pride ourselves on our mixed bills (we strive for a 50-50 male-female ratio and a mix of stand-up and more alternative sets).
Our resident MC is BBC Radio 4's Viv Groskop (Saturday Live, Loose Ends): "Very funny" - Omid Djalili.

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. 4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
