Haymarket Hotel's Floatfit HIIT and all-important recovery brunch returns this September...
Water based fitness experts, aquaphysical are hosting a series of FloatFit HIIT Sunday sessions in the hotel's subterranean pool, which has a ceiling covered in hundreds of fibre-optic lights and features a colourful light installation by Martin Richman. The revolutionary FloatFit HIIT workout uses water to transform fitness and bring fun back to exercise. This full body workout is designed for all levels to build your aerobic fitness, increase your muscular strength and most importantly, have fun. Following the 30 minute session, guests will be treated to a Recovery Brunch in Brumus Restaurant with delicious dishes including, sweetcorn chilli fritters with poached eggs, avocado, tomato and lime salsa and freshly baked waffles with bananas, berries and maple syrup.
Timings
Session one: 10.15am for a 10.30am start. 30 minute class followed by brunch
Session two: 11.15am for a 11.30am start. 30 minute class followed by brunch
* Please note that there are no showering facilities available.
** Please dress water ready (GYM LEGGINGS / SHORTS / SPORTS BRA / SPORTS TOP / SWIMWEAR) and bring a change of dry clothes for after the class.
About Chris Unwin, FloatFit HIIT instructor
FloatFit HIIT instructor, Chris Unwin originally trained as a professional dancer and toured internationally for 10 years. He now teaches all different types of fitness and abilities and likes to see people challenging themselves in class. Chris’s energy levels reach up to 100% in class and has a fun approach to the sessions.
