If like me, your last Christmas was spent binge-watching Netflix shows, then you were probably entranced by Eleven Madison Park on 7 Days Out. Co-owned by chef Daniel Humm, the exclusive 3 Michelin-starred restaurant was officially named as the World's Best Restaurant back in 2017 and now Londoners will be able to get a taste of his award-winning cuisine with the launch of Davies And Brook this December.

Taking over the space formerly occupied by Fera, Davies And Brook will be situated in Claridge's; Humm's first solo venture outside of the States. This marks a return to the 5-star hotel for the celebrated chef, who first worked at Claridge's when he was 15. The menu leans towards contemporary dishes with an elevated flair, while the cocktail list has been curated by award-winning bar director Leo Robitschek.

Named after the intersection of streets where the Mayfair hotel is situated, the restaurant will focus on fine dining "without pretence." Hopefully, that means I can grab a bite for a little less than the $335 that a tasting menu currently costs at the NYC flagship.
