28-50 Wine Bar & Kitchen in Covent Garden is the big sister of the established 28-50 in Marylebone Lane, seating up to 250 guests in a bright, airy, stylishly decorated venue.

Situated just a stone's throw from both Covent Garden & Leicester Sq, right in the heart of what used to be Theatreland, the restaurant features ceiling to floor window panelling, fresh bouquets of flowers throughout, and an innovative design style, along with a staple foot-tapping soundtrack, all brought together to create a welcoming and chic restaurant.

Featuring unique and fresh seasonal dishes by executive chef, Julien Baris, who has worked in some of the World's best restaurants, both in London in France. Try the autumnal selections, such as burrata with pickled mushrooms, smoked onion puree and hazelnuts, followed by a slow-cooked lamb shoulder, with barley and squash on an onion soubise, finished with jus. The dessert selection includes fine French cheeses, imported by Fromagerie Bellevaire, and Julien's grandmother's recipe chocolate madeleines with creme Anglaise.

Their dedicated team of in-house sommeliers are constantly working hard, to ensure our wine list stays current and has something for everyone to get excited about. Offering bespoke, tailored wine tastings for their clients, they know their stuff about wine.

They are exclusive UK stockists of their own Chateau de Candie Viognier wine, which they produce themselves in the French Alps.

    Having grown up in the world-renowned Bordeaux region of France, Julien’s love of premium cuisine and world-class wines was instilled from a young age. He honed his craft in the kitchens of a number of Michelin-starred restaurants in France and moved to London to work as the Head Chef at Aubaine, before joining 28°-50° in 2014. Julien leads a skilled team of talented international chefs to deliver delicious, seasonally-led Modern European dishes.
