Description
The Britannia not only wins the title of Richmond's oldest pub but also its most charming. Tucked down a little side street off the green and home to Richmond's secret garden, the pub oozes both history and personality making it one of the best pubs in the borough.
Whilst the interior is traditional, their large and newly refurbished garden and roof terrace is their main calling card. Lush greenery and gazebos await you in Richmond's most perfect place to kick back with a glass of wine and a paper in the summer months. There's also a function for raucous private parties and corporate events.
Along with their solid menu of classic pub grub, there's a choice of 'Britannia Bites' which are delicious little plates of food like salt & pepper squid and fillet steak carpaccio that you can enjoy throughout the day. This is all accompanied by a long list of real ales and eclectic wines.
