Set in the stunning area of Hammersmith/Chiswick, overlooking the river Thames, The Old Ship is the place to go for a drink & food with a view. There is an extensive outdoor seating area next to the river, perfect for lapping up the sunshine in the warmer months. However, for the days where the sunshine is missing there is two levels from which to shelter from the elements, both complete with fires and delectable seasonal menus.
Found on records as far back as 1722, The Old Ship is the perfect haven after a long Sunday walk; as a family friendly pub it welcomes children and dogs, with a kids menu to boot. With a private function room; The Drawing Room which has a its own bar and leads to the balcony has capacity to hold up to 65 people - The Old Ship can also be hired out for those special occasions & meetings are also welcome, as the room is helpfully equipped with a large TV and other essentials.

The Drawing Room / Up to 40 seated or 50 standing Is our upstairs private function area (split into two rooms which are joined by double doors) with capacity for up to 40 people for a sit down meal and up to 50 for stand up style event. Hiring The Drawing Room you get your own fully equipped bar with dedicated bartender, exclusive use of our beautiful upstairs balcony (only available until 10:45pm at night) with stunning river views and private toilets. The drawing room bar closes at 11pm & the room is to be vacated by 11:30pm, All functions incur an additional 12.5% service charge. Pre-orders for food/drinks packages must be made and paid for at least 10 days before the event unless otherwise specified. Changes to pre-orders may be made or cancelled up to 5 days before the event at the manager’s discretion. Any changes after this time will not be allowed due to the nature of our menus. Any cancellations to pre orders in this time will still be charged. We reserve the right to refuse entry at any time and operate a challenge 25 policy, also our license states No children after 8pm unless attending a private function with notice approval from the General Manager, we are children friendly but we aren't a playground & ask that all children remain under adult supervision & respect the property. Cancellations of bookings up to 28 days before the event will receive a full refund. After this time any payments will be forfeited. |

The Conservatory / Up to 24 seated or 40 standing This lovely downstairs restaurant has large windows giving panoramic views of the river. This room has capacity for up to 24 people for a sit down meal and up to 40 people for stand up style event, however it is not a private area but can be depending on circumstances. Perfect for sit down dinners and drinks parties alike. the conservatory closes at 11pm & the room is to be vacated by 11:30pm, All functions incur an additional 12.5% service charge.
