A riverside haunt from the heralded Fuller's Group, The Blue Boat, led by Captain Dahl, is a swarming of nautical inspired niceties. A dapper destination for early evening drinks and late night dinners alike, this plot in Thames view is as charming as they come.

Strung with ocean themed interiors, the blue hue of The Blue Boat is unique and calming. A fresh blend of contemporary interiors, boat inspired booths, nautical trinkets and more, this den of drinking and dining plays true homage to its theme. Not content with kicking in back inside? Join guests on the tables outside for a taste of the Thames as you take to tipples and dining treats among some of the best views of London in the business.

Boasting their beloved ales and beer brews alongside a pub grub menu of affordable classics, Fullers once again prove with The Blue Boat why they're once of the best pub groups in the business thanks to the likes of frontier battered cod with crispy chips at £12, and roast ballotine of chicken with haricot beans and spring vegetables for £14.

The Blue Boat Hammersmith - London Pub Review

You can imagine the Made in Chelsea crew hitting this sophisticated, charming nautical Hammersmith hot spot. But what's the goss behind the glitz, you ask? The Venue: Well, not much to get all up in their grill about here. I was spellbound by...

Great food, lovely staff, and nice environment - every time! We were a group of 10 and all of us enjoyed it. Pre-order wasn't necessary, food arrived on time and overall it was a great experience! Joana visited The Blue Boat on 21 May 2016

Food was lovely and they were very accommodating to minor switches in the main meals. Only drawback was that the service was a little slow and it took some time to get staff attention. bellelaqueen visited The Blue Boat on 16 Apr 2016

Been coming here for a while now and would recommend it to anyone! Only draw back is from time to time service can be slow. Busy times they need more stuff. Food and drink choice is great and when you are dealing with staff they are ACE!! Good for families and so dog friendly. pchooft visited The Blue Boat on 07 Feb 2016

Sunday lunch was great, Beef perfectly cooked medium rare and good roasties. Could have done with more vegetables but more were delivered upon request. Great booth at the back of the restaurant provided a nice little enclave although it made getting the attention of staff a little harder.

Great food and staff service. Disappointment being, why describe the fish dish as sea Trout it was not sea trout and we asked beforehand! It was beautifully cooked rainbow trout.? sdm visited The Blue Boat on 30 Oct 2015

Food good, but level of service poor - if you like chasing the serving staff, this is the place for you! Service not added to my bill, so I think this was noticed, but will they learn...? cpb999 visited The Blue Boat on 25 Oct 2015

I have booked a big table quite in advance and the day we go there they made a mess with the reservations and we end up having 2 separate tables instead the big one that I have booked, even thought I told the staff this was not what I have reserved. They just apoligized and we stayed in the 2 separate tables, divided by the entrance door with people coming in and out all the time. Quite disturbing.

I love this place. The staff are great and super friendly, the drinks are reasonably priced and the food is really good quality. It has a great atmosphere and because of this, attracts lots of people, meaning it can get crowded and quite noisy. It is not really somewhere for a quiet meal...unless you are talking brunch, its much quieter during the day. I would recommend the hash browns! It is also dog friendly (not in the restaurant area), which is great for us. Other pubs in the area are good but they are much smaller, more crowded and have MUCH less outside space available.

First time at this venue for a group of 5. Food was good - we all enjoyed what we ordered. Service was attentive and helpful and staff had a sense of humour. I feel we shall return! Minty Deverereaux

Hi , constant dropping of kitchen equipment was deafening , and annoying . The chips are dry , and covered in salt ??? The Dove or Blue Anchor , better food and cheaper beer , and on the same path, just a very short walk . Not the usual Fullers standard .

Reply from The Blue Boat

unfortunately due to our open kitchen experience, the volume of kitchen equipment would be a little more than conventional kitchens. I apologise regarding your experience here at the Blue Boat. Please come back and give us another try. I am sure that if you had a booth in the gallery, a much more serene area of the pub, you will have a better experience. thank you for your review.

Wonderful fit out in a great riverside location. Our food was excellent, as on previous visits, and the staff were friendly and helpful, although could have been a little more aware of empty plates etc. It's not the cheapest place in the area but by and large you get what you pay for. I would certainly recommend and the terrace will be a great place to spend a Summer's evening when the weather warms up.

The only good thing is the location and that it has been nicely decorated - lovely spot on a sunny day, Lovely place to go with your laptop. Very expensive for location over £5 a pint. We were charged £12.95 two pints and small packet of crisps on top you are limited with just Fullers beer. Oveheard others also making comment on prices. or hearing "guess how much these drinks cost" Nice location but it is hamersmith not Mayfair so easier to walk along to Blue Anchor or Rutland or craptree all nearby if you are out for a few drinks.

thank you for your kind words regarding our décor and location. I am sorry to hear you did not have the best experience at the Blue Boat. We as a company offer a premium service and premium products. We believe that the customer experience we provide, outclass our competitors and therefore we feel that as an establishment we justify our prices. if you would like to e-mail me personally I would be happy to talk further about this matter. thank you for your review and we value your feedback greatly. Impressed with this new pub on my doorstep (which helps). You wouldnt guess it was a fullers as the decor is pretty cool. My lunch was solid and as ever with a fullers the beer selection was good. The outside deck will obviously be a favourite when the sun shines!

The food here is awfully over priced and the service is very poor. The server didn't check on us and when we'd finished he asked how it was? We said the fish wasn't very nice and he said 'suberb' obvs not listening to us. The river setting is nice but things need to improve before I go back. Sorry, 1 star from me.
