Join us aboard the ship for a night of rollicking laughter and good times.

Have you ever been to a comedy show inside a 151 year old ship before? A famous ship? No? Well, now is your chance, and we have an absolutely smashing line-up of hilarious comedians for your enjoyment:

SUZI RUFFELL

Suzi is one of those acts who has very quietly gone about her business of becoming a completely excellent act and is now on the verge of a major breakthrough.

She has supported Romesh Ranganathan, Kevin Bridges, Josh Widdicombe and Alan Carr on multiple tours and is now on a joint-tour with fellow rising star (and Like Minded Friend, as their podcast says) Tom Allen. She is a born, powerhouse performer and her past two shows, focusing on her working-class Portsmouth upbringing have brought her even closer to the mainstream success that is surely just around the corner. As seen on Channel 4, E4, BBC3, Comedy Central, Dave and heard on BBC Radio 4.

"A stand-up gem." Guardian

"Ruffell deserves to be a much bigger name." Evening Standard

"Ruffell has nabbed the working class comedy crown for her generation. Sparky, energising, fun, an accomplished act who knows how to engage an audience." Chortle

PIERRE NOVELLIE

One of the biggest, friendliest and funniest of bears working in the UK today, Pierre's comedy is a wonderful mix of Izzard-esque surrealism, erudite scholarship and daft day-to-day observational comedy.

Pierre is a regular correspondent on BBC2’s The Mash Report hosted by Nish Kumar and performed on the most recent series of Stand Up Central on Comedy Central.  An acclaimed live act, Pierre is fresh from supporting Frank Skinner in the West End for a month, as well as supporting Hal Cruttenden and Gary Delaney on their national tours.  He was nominated for Best Club Comic at the 2017 Chortle Awards for two years running, which is entirely in keeping with this endlessly inventive standup's gilt-edged reputation.

"Dawn of a major talent." Guardian

"A show packed full of belly laughs…impressively well written, perfectly building and building and rich with detail…Novellie delivers it all with real astuteness and skill." ★★★★★ Metro

"Wry, confident observational comedy…hilarious." Sunday Times

MO OMAR

Somali-born, Cardiff-raised and London-based, Mo Omar is a fast-rising talent with a unique perspective. Mo was selected to perform in The Pleasance Comedy Reserve show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was a finalist of the BBC Introducing Radio 4 Comedy Award, both in 2019. He made his TV debut on Harry Hill’s Clubnite on Channel 4.

Previously, he was the winner of the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year 2017 competition, and semi-finalist in the So You Think You’re Funny and Amused Moose 2017 competitions. He created short-form videos for the new BBC Wales platform BBC Sesh, and also starred in an episode of The Joy of Missing Out for All4.

"Omar has a winningly irreverent attitude to sacred cows, with a fresh and feisty delivery that gives him a contemporary edge." Chortle

BEN VAN DER VELDE

Over the past decade Ben he has spread joy and nonsense to all four corners of the British Isles, as well as Greece, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Estonia, Latvia, Finland and Norway.  He is a regular host and act for respected British comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store, Komedia, The Backyard, The Glee, Covent Garden Comedy Club, The Stand, Comedy Loft, Top Secret Comedy, Outside the Box, the Frog & Bucket and Comedy Club 4 Kids, as well as hosting stages for Bestival, Festival No.6, End of the Road and Sunday Papers Live.

On top of that, he has taken commissions to perform a voodoo re-marriage ceremony, founded the Church of the Holy Kazoo with comedy legend Mark Thomas, walked the entire London Underground network to raise money for The Refugee Council, hosted a comedy tour of the FIFA Museum in Zurich and even took part in experiments at The Royal Society that revealed him to have the most infectious laugh of any human, rat or monkey.

"Sharp and crafty gagsmith, a life-giving compere." Chortle

"Wonderfully improvised riffs showcasing his impressive spontaneity and sharp tongue." Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

“The perfect comedy club host – he is a master of audience interaction. The audience weren’t just warmed up, but pretty hysterical even before the first act of the night hit the stage.”  Huffington Post
