The Yorkshire Grey has stood proudly on the corner of Grays Inn Road and Theobald's Road since 1676. You’ll find us 200 metres from Chancery Lane underground station, and it’s only a bit further to Holborn, Farringdon, Russell Square and Kings Cross. We’re open for lunch, dinner and drinks 6 days a week and available for private hire at the weekend.

We love hosting private events, whether its charity fund raisers, birthday parties to weddings - we might have even hosted a secret event for a member of the Royal Family... If you ask we might tell you, but you did not hear it from us...

Our pub kitchen is famous for its handmade Beef Burgers and Fish & Chips, all our suppliers are local and we only use sustainable ingredients.

As for drinks - well you will be spoiled by the 50 or so Beer & Ciders we have, and over 40 different Gins to go with your Tonic - each with its own particular garnish....

Amazing place to chill and relax with your mates. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and chilled night out. The prices weren't too bad and the staff were nice aswell.

Lunch with a old work colleague who used to come to the YG a lot 5 years or so ago. We had no idea that the space had been refurbished and i must say they did an amazing job. Great natural light with cool furniture and decor. The range of craft beers and boutique Gins was really impressive, they had Bedlam Brewery on cask which is one of my favourites and you hardly see it in London. Food wise the whole menu looked really impressive, but our choice was simple - Burgers. Fresh, Tasty with an awesome burger sauce (apparently home made) - cooked to perfection. Service really good as well. lastyjames visited The Yorkshire Grey on 04 Jun 2016

It's a pub but I've been in here many times and it's always a reliable option with a great atmosphere. It's the type of place you go in for 1 drink and stay all afternoon and evening so beware!

Hi Karen, Thanks for the kind words. We value all feedback and the staff love it when they hear a customer has taken the time to write positive things. Looking forward to see you at the YG soon - maybe for a cheeky G&T...
