Let's meet the hosts:
AIDEEN McQUEEN is one of Ireland’s top female stand-ups. Having reached the final of the ‘Funny Funny’ comedy competition after just her third gig, she started to gig all over Ireland in clubs such as the International and the Laughter Lounge. She reached the semi-finals of the national new act competition ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ held at the Edinburgh Festival in 2014, and has since then worked all around the UK in the past year, with sets for highly-regarded Stand clubs in Scotland, Mirth Control and the Top Secret Comedy Club in London, amongst others. You will not be disappointed.
And as for PADDY LENNOX, well... just stand back. Paddy first burst on to stage as a stand-up in 2001, only to be interrupted with a couple of comedies at the Shakespeare Globe Theatre and filming in far-off lands before returning to his new-found passion. An engaging and instantly likeable comic, he combines the topical with observational routines. He’s featured on The Blame Game for BBC Northern Ireland and TalkSport Radio. Festivals and TV warm-up work have been huge fun for him and he has supported touring comics like Rhod Gilbert, Lucy Porter and Micky Flanagan. Whilst playing all the usual big clubs, Paddy likes to gig at the smaller ones too. Otherwise life gets too predictable. So we’ve got ‘im.
