Safe, socially-distanced and still the best value comedy show in London, we are delighted to be returning to The Colonel Fawcett with more tremendous acts from the UK and International Festival circuit.

HAL CRUTTENDEN

Hal is easily one of the finest heavyweight acts on the British circuit right now, his blend of impotent fury at the world and pricking of his own pomposity making him  a real favourite.  He is the conscience of well-meaning liberal middle-class Britain, who desperately wants to make the world a better place, but only after he's had a crisp Chablis.  His huge skills has taken him all around the globe entertaining crowds as far afield as Indonesia, Singapore and the Falkland Islands.  Back at home he has been nominated for Best Club Comic multiple times, appeared in the film classics such as 'Mrs.Dalloway' and 'The Madness of King George' and smashed the living daylights out of his appearances on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You and Sunday Night at the Palladium.

"An absolute joy to watch." The Scotsman

"Hugely talented." The Times

Cally is a natural storyteller full of intelligent, distinctive and punchline-rich material. Her act is a rollercoaster ride of anecdotes, observations and stuff even your best mate wouldn’t admit to. She has appeared on John Lloyd’s Museum of Curiosity on BBC Radio 4 and QI, as well as regularly popping up on the New York City circuit.

AND YOUR RESIDENT HOST:

BEN VAN DER VELDE

One of the quickest wits around and a much-loved compere, he always brings a jam-packed back of nonsense, silliness and wisecracks to every gig he hosts.

"Sharp and crafty gagsmith, a life-giving compere." Chortle

"Wonderfully improvised riffs showcasing his impressive spontaneity and sharp tongue." Edinburgh Festivals Magazine
