Since Prince's death last year, there has been a serious saturation of Prince themed tribute nights. We've all been there, wildly flailing in our purple suits and pretending to cry like those doves... Forget it all. This is the Prince night to END all Prince nights.

In honour of The Purple One, we will be providing you the finest Prince edits topped off with loads of disco, funk, soul and all the other good stuff inspired by one of music’s biggest legends. Dust off your raspberry beret and don your dancing shoes for this one, it is not to be missed.

There was no prince playing, it was a complete and utter waste of £5 Visited The Old Queen's Head on 2017-06-16

Apalling Dj. Really, if you're going to advertise a night as a Prince night, then how about you play more than a couple of Prince tracks every half hour? And how about you play more than half the track? And how about not trying to prove your 'creative' credentials by distorting the music in poor attempts to 'improve' upon Prince's music? Honestly, the disrespect. This Dj clearly knew nothing about Prince's music and was foolish enough to broadcast his ignorance as well as his shockingly inadequate mixing skills. Plenty of great Dj's out there (e.g. Dj Marlon, the StevieWonderland crew) who know and respect Prince's music and could also pull a crowd (if that was the concern). I've given the night two stars as the door and bar staff were very nice. But the Dj was utterly crap. Please tell him. Visited The Old Queen's Head on 2017-06-16
