A swish neighbourhood grill, oyster bar and bakery, Darby's is Masterchef star Robin Gill's biggest project to date. Located just a stone's throw away from the new US Embassay in Viaduct Gardens, this sprawling restaurant is known for its high-quality fare and laid-back atmosphere.

The restaurant harks back to Irish heritage, placing provenance at the heart. The menu focuses on live fire cooking and the use of ethically-sourced ingredients. Not only does the on-site bakery churn out fresh bites, there is also a swanky seafood bar, showcasing the best shellfish from all over the UK.

In terms of interiors, this place is inspired by lofty New York eateries - expect high ceilings, grand marble bars and comfy leather furnishings. Gill's previous success stories include Sorella, Counter Culture and The Dairy which now has its own cookbook.
