One million balls, two private ball pits, a ball pit waterfall and more retro sweetie cocktails – London’s adult ball-pit has escalated and returned.

Ballie Ballerson is thrilled to announce it has a brand new home on Curtain Road in Shoreditch.  Opening in late September, fans of the former Dalston site can enjoy a bigger, better Ballie.

Our world famous ball pit cocktail bar is promising more space and more nostalgic hedonism with unparalleled photo opportunities.

The one million balls are housed in a 4,000ft space covered wall to wall with a mesmerising 60 metre UV mural. The signature clear balls are back, held within a huge mirrored cage complete with a waterfall. Ballie now has two private ball pits, one with dual aspect floor to ceiling windows facing onto Curtain Road.

At the bar, mischievous bartenders will shake theatrical cocktails around retro sweets and trickery, including the best selling Dibbie Dabberson, Skittle Sour and Wham Bam Goddamn,

DJs will be pumping out a variety of deep house and disco. Entrance to the bar is free, and customers will be able to advance book two-hour tickets for the main ball-pit.

Buy a ticket for entry where you can enter and exit the main glowing ball pit as many times as you like within your purchased time slot.

Tickets are non-refundable.

FAQs

I don't have a ticket, can I still come?
Yes, of course.  Entry to the glowing bar with 60 meter UV murals and cheeky barman is totally free.

We hold some ball pit tickets back on the door for each session.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes, we are an 18+ Venue, ID will be required for all those lucky enough to look under 25 (valid passport or driving license accepted).

What should I wear in the ball pit?
Dress as if you were 8 years old - closed toe shoes are a must, girls avoid heels if possible. Don't wear short skirts and dresses unless you're happy to showcase your knickers to all!

How do you clean the balls, isn't it un-hygienic?
No, we have a ball cleaner called Gobble Muffin who sanitises and cleans 18,000 p/hr.

What are your opening hours?
We are open on Tuesday 6pm - 10pm, Wednesday 6pm - 12am, YThursday 6pm-1am, Friday 6pm - 2am and Saturday 6pm - 2am.

How do your booking/tickets work?
We run our ballpit entrance tickets with 2 hour time slots - to get the most out of your experience arrive maybe 10 minutes before to avoid Q's.

Do you have a cloakroom?
Yes we do - it's £1 for coats and bags. We strongly suggest that EVERYTHING goes in the cloakroom, unless you want to be emailing lostproperty@ballieballerson.com the following morning!

Are drinks allowed in the ball pit?
No - we trialled it in the soft launch and all we can say is no, no, no and no.

Can I hire out the venue for private events?
Yes, please email events@ballieballerson.com

What if I drop my phone?
Let’s just hope you didn't leave it on silent!

The ball pit is so much fun and at £10 entry plus 10 for the ball pit itself (we went on a friday) wasn't too shabby at all. I don't understand how three shots of tequila can amount to £21 however.

Oh goodie, another activity where the owners don't care how many people they cram into a tiny space. There is only one ball pit and many times it landed up feeling dangerous rather than fun with the amount of people rammed in. On more than one occasion someone fell on me in not a fun way. Then, the staff are EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful, apart from the manager. If you ask any questions about what to do with your phone and belongings, or one of your group loses their phone in the pit, don't expect a polite, helpful response; just aggression and nastiness. The cocktails also sound a lot better on the menu then they are in real life...there is no flame on the espresso martini, and if there is alcohol in them, I couldn't taste any, Nice to try it once but I don't feel the need to ever go back. My advice is open all 3 ball pits to everyone, charge more and have less numbers, and fire all the awful people that work for you!

Don’t bother wasting your money. I booked 14 for the bottomless brunch over a month ago for my sisters 30th Birthday. I originally booked the time slot 1pm - 3pm but was emailed a few weeks before the date that the time slot had been changed to 2pm - 4pm. When our group arrived they had no idea the time slot had changed and I wasted 20 minutes trying to explain and finding the email from them stating the new start time. All seating areas were fully booked so they made a table area for us, right in front of the entrance of one of the ball pits so we had to keep moving to let people through. Not only that, the table wasn’t big enough for us all and for a group of 13, we only had 6 chairs. The pizzas arrived cold and there is not £40 worth of pizza or prosecco. For a group of 13 people, we counted 5 pizzas between us. To be fair our glasses were constantly being refilled which was the only positive but we left hungry and unsatisfied. I would like to thank Karl who was very apologetic and done everything he could to try and improve a bad situation.
