"Let's face it: our lives are miserable, laborious, and short.” Escape this Orwellian dystopia and join us as we celebrate our bestial side on the Animal Farm! (No, not *that* one...).
We will be putting on our wellies and getting down and dirty, bringing you a bumper crop of comedy, burlesque and ridiculousness to cheer up even the grumpiest piggy.
FRI 18TH MARCH will be our last Hooray until summer and it's going to be a big one! Because some cabarets are more equal than others.
Our headliner this month is international girl of naïveté, BEC HILL. An award-winning comedian, Bec’s "exuberant, daft and inventive" style has gained her several acclaimed solo shows and a hugely popular YouTube channel. Having recently shared a stage with the likes of Alan Davies, Jimmy Carr, Kevin Eldon, Milton Jones and Rob Delaney, we can’t wait to welcome her to the Hooray stage. In yet another superb line-up (you’re welcome) BEC is joined by “archduke of comedy” DAVID MILLS, “cleverly subversive” DAVE GREEN and UK Pun Champion & “giant of the art” LEO KEARSE.
Our list of fluffy beasts is completed by neo-burlesque star LOLO BROW (below), sweet and twisted GINGER CUPCAKE, fierce and fabulous MISS JONES, HooCab favourite PEARL GREY and irreverent and hilarious MAISIE MARTINI, creating the unique mix of comedy and burlesque for which Hooray is known and loved.
As ever, the show is brought together by "miniature tour de force" and 'dairy' farmer, VICTORIA KEMBER.
And as it's a Friday, the night will continue till 1:00am with some of MOTH's DJs dancefloor classics.
Four legs good. Two legs bad.It's going to be udderly fabulous.
