Swedish dairy brand offers HIIT sessions in Regents Park throughout July
To encourage city-goers to embrace Friluftsliv (Swedish for ‘open air living’) and get active outdoors this summer, Swedish dairy brand Lindahls has created a series of outdoor bootcamps in partnership with fitness studio FRAME.
The sessions were created on the back of research revealing 50% of Brits spend less than an hour outside each day, 70% would like to spend more time outside and three fifths (60%) say their ideal place to exercise would be in the great outdoors. It also highlights the need for indoor-prone Brits to get active, with three fifths (40%) of people only doing one hour or less of exercise a week and almost one fifth (18%) admitting they do not exercise at all.
Taking place every Wednesday evening throughout the month of July, the 60-minute sessions will involve a combination of jogging and high intensity interval training (HIIT) in leafy Regents Park. With research showing that almost a quarter (24%) of Brits would be more inclined to exercise if they could do this with someone else, Lindahls is also providing a special buy-one-get-one-free (BYGOF) offer on the classes when booked direct, so people can bring a buddy.
