Following the untimely passing of one of the greatest musicians the world has ever known this year, Prince super-fans, Rob da Bank and Tayo, will team up for another very special Purple Rave celebration event at the Clapham Grand on the anniversary of Prince's passing.

Mining their encyclopedic knowledge of the purple one’s vast back catalogue, Rob and Tayo’s Purple Rave outings have become true events in their own right since 2009. Rocking everywhere from Glastonbury to Bestival and beyond, the pair drop a booty shaking array of sing-along anthems, fat floor fillers, the deepest cuts, amazing remixes, cheeky bootlegs, and incredible cover versions to keep the party bouncing all night. A celebration of Dance, Music, Sex, Romance, it’s guaranteed to be historic and a fitting tribute to Prince.

The night itself was great except for the live band performance. I was not expecting them and they were quite disappointing, especially the dancers. Next time no band please or no dancers that need more skill. Other than that great music from the DJ. Visited The Grand on 2017-04-21

A great fun night with a fantastic atmosphere. The audio sound wasn't the greatest during the film, but then pretty sure everyone was only there to sing a long to the soundtrack when the sound was great! Wish the middle DJ set had been longer for those who aren't so good at late nights any more... while the tribute act were great, nothing beats hearing the original tracks being blasted out in all their purple glory Visited The Grand on 2017-04-21

We had a great night! Enjoyed meeting fellow Prince fans, telling stories. The photo booth was good fun, cocktails were lethal! Would definitely go back! Visited The Grand on 2017-04-21

Prince music all night long? How can you go wrong?! You'd be surprised... Firstly the Clapham Grand is an AWFUL venue. It absolutely stinks of drains. EVERYWHERE! And the clientele, don't get me started. The Prince tunes were of course fantastic and tribute band were great. However this was billed as a night from Rob da Bank so I was expecting loads of cool remixes of Prince tracks. No such thing. I could have stood at the decks played a selection of Prince tracks for half the price! So in short, terrible venue and the musical arrangement didn't live up to expectations. I would have given it a 1 were it not for non-stop Prince tunes which are of course amazing (and always will be). Visited The Grand on 2017-04-21
