Team DesignMyNight - where we're drinking this week

Here at DesignMyNight we stay on the ball by scouring London for the best bars, clubs, pubs and events so you don't have to. Naturally, this involves testing out the good, the bad and the quirky (it's a hard life...)

Stay up to date on the team's whereabouts right here! Take a look at what we have planned for this week:

Monday 5th November

To cure the Monday blues I’m off to sample Piste; a new basement bar located at Archer Street Cocktail Bar in Soho. It seems like there are a few alpine-ski-type bars popping up across London of late, making it all the more easier to welcome in winter with a smile (as opposed to my usual annual-weather-whining-fest).

Tuesday 6th November

Tuesday will see Georgiana pick up some tips at the weekly Worship Pong event at Blueberry Bar and Kitchen in Shoreditch. Coaches are on hand to ensure you can be the best and fiercest table-tennis player you can be for the tournament kicking off at 7:30pm. Make us proud Georgiana, make.us.proud.

Wednesday 7th November

Our new Bookings Manager Naomi will be checking out Queen of Hoxton’s latest offering in the WigWamBam winter pop-up on Wednesday evening; a few of us have already been down and think it’s just swell. Marshmallows, hot chocolate and booze:  you can’t go wrong!

Thursday 8th November

Georgiana’s off out again for a mid-week jaunt at Birthdays in Stoke Newington for the Flight Facilities London show.  Birthday’s host various club nights and events throughout the year and is a most befitting place to spend your Thirsty Thursday.

Friday 9th November

Unlike the rest of us shabby lot, our Account Exec Simone enjoys the finer things in life. To belatedly celebrate her birthday from last week, she’s off to Elysee Restaurant and Bar for some lovely food and tasty cocktails. Grattis på födelsedagen, Simone!

Saturday 10th November

Live from New York, it’s Saturday Niggghhhht!

Ok ok, we’re not in New York and it’s not Saturday...yet. But you betcha’ Naomi is going to be ready when Saturday does arrive; she’s planning on going to the Midnight Apothecary at the Brunel Museum (check it out, with our other selection of popups, here!). It’s a rooftop cocktail pop-up serving up cocktails infused with freshly grown ingredients from Lottie Muir’s (the organiser and the ‘Cocktail Gardener’) flourishing garden.

Sunday 11th November

If like me, you’ve come to terms with the fact you’ll never quite be able to make a roast dinner like your Mum did for all those years, then you can take solace in the fact there are loads of great places in London you can go where someone else will compete with your Mum’s bad-ass cooking skills. On Sunday, I will be trying The Prince Arthur by London Fields on for size.

...and that's pretty much how we see our week pan out. Set up a free account with us and let us know what you think of our featured venues by leaving a review!
