The Riverfront Cafe, Bar and Restaurant located next to Waterloo Bridge has stunning views of the River Thames and makes for a lovely venue for eating, drinking or both. Also Located very close to BFI IMAX Cinema and the National Theatre, this Waterloo venue is a good place to visit for a drink before or after a film at the cinema or show at the theatre, so much so, The Riverfront often has themed seasons in accordance with the BFI cinema, making the visit a little more interesting.

The drinks list is nothing out of the ordinary with all the regular beverages you would hope to find, a list of wines, beers and cocktails for whatever is your fancy and some delicious meals off of a British menu to accompany your drink if you get a little hungry.

Do not wait to visit this venue when you are going to the cinema or theatre, this is a lovely spot in London to eat good food and have a few drinks with lovely views, whether you stop off after work for a few, or you plan a visit with friends or family. It's very British and modern decor is inviting and familiar, with displayed food in and on counters and the outside seating area is definitely to be considered on a summers day.

Nice social venue, staff are professional and lovely One note: There seems to be a serious shortage of indoor seating these days! I'm sure you're losing customers because of this. visited The Riverfront on 03 Dec 2016

Food was fab, service very good, noise excessive. A speaker crackling out something from a dj or whatever was too loud, drowned out conversation and induced tinnitus. This deters further visits until it's sorted out. visited The Riverfront on 02 Dec 2016

Overall I had a nice meal and the staff were nice. When I arrived I was standing by they 'wait here to be seen' kind of bit and lots of people were walking past me and getting tended to. The restaurant was quite quiet and I was hanging around for a while before anyone came to me. The lady in charge looked after me but she had other staff members who just seemed to be distracted. We saw the waiters hanging around their work station and we were trying to make eye contact to get service. I felt like I had my invisibility cloak on. The food was tasty. But the mushy peas accompanying the fish were miniscule. For £14 I would expect to at least get a spoonful. It came in a tiny tub. There was more tartare sauce than peas which seemed bizarre. Chips in a separate tub is also totally unnecessary. visited The Riverfront on 01 Dec 2016

Went here for a drink with a friend I haven't seen in a while to catch up. We had a couple of glasses of wine each and some lovely food. It was a nice environment and we had a good time.
