Description
The Valmont Club is currenly closed for refurbs
The Valmont Club in Chelsea is a London club described as one of the best 100 things in the world by GQ magazine. With its 300 people capacity it eschews the hackneyed VIP room mentality, providing a refreshing alternative to the Chelsea scene. Being the reincarnation of Café des Artistes - former haunt of The Rolling Stones, David Bowie and Queen - The Valmont Club has plenty to shout about. It has retained much of its bohemian spirit: a gothic and art-deco fusion, beaded curtains and drapes, tiny dim lamps, lots of big cushions and heavy-framed mirrors. You must be on a guestslist to get in and join a glamorous yet highly spirited party crowd. At The Valmont Club they serve exceptional cocktails, with 40 unusual choices made with premium spirits and the freshest fruits. The music avoids cheese and chart for a heady mix of uplifting and irresistible house music set, where Chelsea's God of Music, resident DJ Ollie Twist plays his classic sets of House and bootleg remixes.
