There aren’t too many rules to keep to at this intimate basement bar close to St. Paul’s. When playing pool, you’re kindly asked to refrain from laying the cue across your shoulders and wrapping your arms around it (you don’t look as cool as you think), to resist the urge to joust (for obvious reasons) and to keep well topped up on their strong choice of craft beers throughout.

This is the Club Room, an exclusively private hire hangout located beneath Jamie’s on Ludgate Hill. It’s cosy and personal, with room for just 30 guests to play pool, catch up at a comfy candlelit table and sample a strong line-up of cocktails while they’re here. The venue can be hired exclusively and is free of charge on weekdays, with only a minimum spend and a £50 deposit.
