Taking the place of Sixties haunt, ‘The Pinstripe Club’, and inspired by its colourful history of scandal and infamy (where Keeler met Profumo), Disrepute combines timeless qualities and Sixties counterculture with choice elements of London’s exciting cocktail scene today.

A hidden gem of a basement nestled under Kingly Court between Carnaby Street and Beak Street, Disrepute (D.R.P.) will welcome guests with warm hospitality and impeccable service. Offering an expertly curated drinks menu, where established ideas meet modern thinking, cocktail lovers are well looked after while a luxurious collection of spirits and an extensive wine list will appeal to the discerning and the adventurous alike. Cocktails are presented as a series or short stories, invoking the characters and events from Soho's heydays. Choose by the story that connects with you the most or simply skip to the appendix for a staright up account of each drink.

Descending down the stairs into an intimate space with wood–panelled walls and vaulted ceilings, you are met with a sense of the Establishment of the late Fifties, while the soundtrack and frivolity of the generation which was to replace it envelops you as settle at your table.  The Sixties was a decade of hedonism, artistic expression and optimism, where the social elite, celebrity and political classes rubbed shoulders with dancing girls, fashionistas and musicians. Great drinkers, from the celebrated to the discredited, fueled by a jazz soundtrack, would whittle the night away in the infamous Soho basements of the day.

D.R.P. is a members’ bar but not in the conventional sense, and applications are welcome from people of all backgrounds and persuasions, especially from those who share in its vision of luxurious libations and late night civilised conversations. Membership will bring some great benefits and privileges but non-members are also welcome to book a table, subject to availability.  Members will naturally take priority during peak times and have access to larger tables and our private vaults and preferential rates on day hire, private hire or room hire (the lounge).

Whether you take a date, meet a secret affair or gather a group for a celebration... Disrepute provides the quiet corners, plush sofas and private vaults for liaisons small or large.

I love scandal. I mean, who doesn't? The celebrity section of my daily news app gets thumbed more frequently than…well, than I’d like to admit. And so in the month that saw the passing of Christine Keeler, the former model at the centre of the...

Great bar, super friendly staff. I accidentally mis-booked, so turned up on the wrong day. However they were very accommodating, and helped cancel my original booking. Really cool decor too, exactly as cocktail bars should be.

absolutely love this place the staff are very warm , great for a date or drinks after work with friends it is one of the only bars in soho that closes as late as it does . The decor is fabulous I strongly recommend it , as I always have a great time ,but to get in you need to book if you are not already a member .
