What they say:
Vinoteca restaurant and wine bar opening in 2012 in Soho is highly inspired by Spanish and Italian wine bars. Vinoteca is a chain, but with family-run feel to it. There's a Vinoteca in Farringdon and another in Marylebone. Vinoteca hopes to create an atmosphere in which unique tasteful wines and simple but creative seasonal fresh food can be served without too much hassle and a huge bill. Vinoteca's love and enthusiasm for wine can be seen by having a look at their wine-list, which is a collection of 300 different wines. All chosen with care, knowledge and passion. 25 of these wines are available by the glass. Vinoteca also offers an option of buying their wines to take home, they believe this option is an indicator of a good wine bar. The food is prepared with the same care taken to choose the wines. The bread is baked on the premises twice a day and the meat is bought from Smithfield market. We want to offer quality and a nostalgic wine experience. This lovely wine bar has won awards, but yet remains approachable and welcoming.
What we say:
There may be plenty of wine bars around Soho, but Vinoteca's passion for fresh food and high quality wines is remarkable, so we say welcome to Soho Vinoteca! Vinoteca is like a Michelin-starred restaurant but at a happily affordable price. This is going to be a very impressive place for a date or romantic night out and a very nice wine bar to enjoy lunch or dinner at with some close friends. It's located close to Regent Street and Oxford Street, so there's no excuses for not paying a visit to Vinoteca in Soho and trying some of the best wines from around the world.
