Amir Haider - 8pm

If you are walking the streets of London and spot a man of Indian descent energizing crowds with his unique blend of rock, pop, and old school blues, chances are you likely stumbled upon Amir Haider. Like many artists, Amir fell in love with music when he was only 11-years-old and saw for the first time a live musician playing electric guitar.

After getting his first glimpse of MTV while vacationing with his family in the United States, Amir found himself drawn to the likes of Guns N' Roses, Nirvana, and Eric Clapton. He went on to write, produce, and release his debut EP, “I'm Home” in 2014. Additionally that year, Amir released his pro-peace single, “Stone Eyes”, with proceeds from that single being donated to the International Red Cross.

When he isn't entertaining audiences with his music, Amir can be found collecting new and vintage guitars and telling the story about the time he jammed with Grammy-winner Amy Winehouse. He is a fan of stand-up comedy and old Bollywood films. He has always been fascinated by politics and spent two years working at the United Nations.Amir is also a big believer in causes that look to stamp out poverty and inequality
