Had a great night, the food and drinks package we had was well worth the money, service was also very good. Only gripe was a venue in central London closing at Midnight on a Saturday. Our party did not want to Leave! visited The Slug and Lettuce Leicester Square on 03 Dec 2016

Reserves an area for 14 people. We only had a limited time there so pre-ordered food and drinks. We were delighted to find that we had a whole area upstairs reserved for us. The drinks were all ready on ice for our arrival and the food was great. The bar staff were helpful and friendly. Many thanks to Soraya for great communication and all her help in organising. katykate visited The Slug and Lettuce Leicester Square on 21 Oct 2016

Jag är så nöjd! Världens trevligaste personal och så god mat :) Kan verkligen rekommendera. Vi tittade på fotboll där och det var så bra stämning. Det var en jättegullig lapp som låg på bordet där det stod A table for lovely Katarina. Jag bokade bord via deras hemsida. I had booked a table at this restaurant over a week before my visit and when I arrived we were placed on a dirty table which only had 2 chairs (baring in mind the booking was for 4). After another chair had been located we sat down. The table was then cleaned. It felt as though our booking had been forgotten about as we were placed directly at the top of a set of stairs where it was very busy, the table was dirty, there was no reserved sign on the table and not enough chairs for the party. Not a great start!! Our waiter then informed us that a table had been reserved for our booking although someone else wanted to sit there and so we were sat elsewhere. Another table then left and so we asked if we could move which was fine. Our order was taken quite quickly however this is where things again started to go wrong. The waitress didn't record our order down, and then when the food came one of the dishes was wrong. I had ordered the noodle salad with salmon but received the salmon superfood salad. We were also missing our sweet potato fries and the Italian chicken was missing tomatoes. I managed to speak to a waitress who passed us back to our first waitress. I told her my dish was incorrect and then about 5 minutes later I received another incorrect dish. The noodles with salmon which is on the main dishes part of the menu. This was missing the spinach and edamame beans which were on the salad and was again incorrect. At this point we were still awaiting the fries. Again the dish was sent back and returned a further 5-10 minutes later with the correct dish however I was informed that there were no edamame beans in the kitchen so it couldn't be served with them. Shouldn't I be informed of this at the time of ordering??? We were still awaiting fries at this point too! They came a couple of minutes after. By this point my family had finished their meals and so I had to eat on my own. It was clear the same piece of salmon had been used each time as it had been regrilled and was very charred when I received it a third time!! There was no check back at all during the meal and we were never asked if we would like extra drinks. Very disappointing food when it did eventually come! We had booked our table for 2 hours, from 16:15 to 18:15. Throughout the meal the staff looked miserable and there was clear tension as the supervisor ordered staff around and was quite confrontational. One of the party was to meet us for a drink however about 25 minutes before we were due to give up our table we ended up asking for the bill as we were constantly being looked at by the supervisor which made us feel that we had to leave. We shouldn't have been made to feel like this!! As we paid the supervisor pushed a reserved sign on the table further pushing us out of the restaurant. A very disappointing experience. I will not be returning!!! chlpound_1 visited The Slug and Lettuce Leicester Square on 28 Mar 2016

food was great! had the lamb balls starter, Italian chicken for main and salted caramel bar for dessert. Food was served very quick. I was informed very quickly that there was no couscous for my starter, and offered spicy rice instead which was a more than ample replacement. The service itself was very efficient and the waiter was very smiley. Only thing that was a bit weird was that I had booked a table beforehand, but on asking the guy behind the bar when we came in where the table was, his reply was "you can sit anywhere". When I went to the top seating area where customers normally dine, I sat on an empty table (as instructed) only to notice my name written on a reserved sign on the table next to me, so I then moved to the correct table. A bit strange to be told to sit anywhere when a table had obviously been reserved for me. This was however the only blimp... chrisevans visited The Slug and Lettuce Leicester Square on 23 Mar 2016

Good chain - standard Slug and Lettuce really. Would pop in if it was on my way somewhere, but wouldn't actively choose to go to Slug and Lettuce. Enjoyed my food and drink though.
