What they say:

One of the first additions to the newly refurbished arches under Hackney Central, the St John At Hackney Brewery is bringing tasty beers and delicious food to the community. Named for the neighbouring Lower Clapton Road church, the brewery will front 'church-like' design elements, with wooden pews and architrave ceiling supports. Run by brewer Ryan Robbins and general manager Luke Scanlon, you'll find a range of home-brewed offerings, from lagers to imperial stouts, as well as a number of international beers on tap.

What we say:

Setting up shop in the arches of Hackney Central, this brewery and restaurant from brewer-manager duo Ryan Robbins and Luke Scanlon is an exciting new addition to the area. Taking its name and ethos from neighbouring church and music venue, St John at Hackney, the taproom and kitchen promises 'beer for all sorts', alongside a changing roster of kitchen residencies, starting with tasty Cypriot cuisine from Emilio Stavrou's Ɛ́lα kebabs.
