With St Patrick’s Day around the corner, what better time to get into the Irish spirit?

A Drop Of Irish is a celebration of the very finest in Irish distilling, where you’ll enjoy some of the world’s favourite whiskeys, unique Irish craft gins, and that outlaw spirit, Poteen. Your host Charlie McCarthy, will take you through the stories and scandals that lie behind the monks, moon-shiners, smugglers, gougers, rebels and renegades who made Irish spirits what they are today. Along the way, you’ll hear how Irish whiskey got it’s ‘e’, how a Dublin excise man changed the face of distillation forever, and why Irish whiskey is the fastest growing spirit category in the world today.

A Drop Of Irish  promises to get your weekend off to a flying start with plenty of fine spirits, delicious food, and great craic in the best of company.

For the full experience, The Barge House Kitchen have created a food board of tasty bites to compliment the flavours of the spirits. You can expect food & drinks  served with a typically warm Barge House welcome.
